Have your say on skatepark

Elmbridge Council wants to hear the opinions of young people about a proposed skate park and youth equipment in Molesey.

It wants 11 to 16-year-olds to come to Molesey Youth Club, in Ray Road, West Molesey, on Tuesday November 4, at 6pm.

"Come along at 6pm for pizza - we'll be done by 8pm," said a spokesman.

Worried mothers are concerned over their children's safety after being rejected for a place on school transport.

Sue Beaumont of Hurst Road, West Molesey, and Pam Steer, of the same road both have teenagers who attend Esher C of E High School, in More Lane, Esher, but were sent letters in August saying their children are being exempt from the school bus.

America-023-1000.jpgFormer Brooklands College A level student, Gary Ablett has just qualified to be an airline pilot and will soon to talking the skies flying 737s and A320s.

Gary, from West Molesey studied A levels in Maths and Physics at Brooklands, and went on to study at the world renowned Oxford Aviation Academy.
